MCFAs can help increase metabolism since they are sent directly to the liver and give the body an instant source of energy. Most of the MCFAs in coconut oil are the highly beneficial Lauric Acid. Lauric acid is found in abundance in human breast milk and converts to a substance called monolaurin in the body. Monolaurin has been shown to be useful in increasing immunity and fighting viruses and disease. Lauric Acid has also been shown to be preventative in fighting certain cancers. Lauric acid also increases the good HDL cholesterol in the blood to improve cholesterol levels.

It makes skin incredibly silky and has wonderful antibacterial/antimicrobial properties. It has good amounts of Vitamin E. If you are looking to use it on your skin it is recommended to use organic Oil. Great Moisturizer for the lips.
Coconut oil is an excellent eye-make up remover that has been reported to help remove wrinkles and help restore elasticity to the skin.
I have recently used coconut oil in a 3 day detox.
Here are the ingredients if you are interested in trying it.
You will need:
3medium avacodos
1 container of Greek Yougurt (plain)
Raw Honey (health food store)
Slivered almonds unsalted
Coconut Oil ( health food store)
Chia Seeds (health food store)
2 Vi-Trims a day
3 day Detox Cleanse:
Breakfast:
Shake with Vi shape Shake mix
1 cup almond milk or Trop 50 Orange juice
5 frozen Strawberries
1TBSP coconut Oil
1TBSP Chia seeds
5 ice cubes
this is when I will take my Vi-Trim
Snack 2 hours later:
1 cup of Greek Yogurt
2TBSP Slivered Almonds
1 TBSP Raw Honey
Lunch Shake same as above
Snack 2 hours later:
1 Medium avacodo You can add lemon juice for taste
Dinner Shake as above.
Continue to do this for the 3 days.
